La Bella Beauty Therapy

La Bella Beauty therapy is a small bespoke beauty therapy salon in Torbay, Auckland. Set in a picturesque seaside town in the East Coast Bays of North Shore, Auckland.

Maria is internationally and nationally qualified and is very passionate about beauty therapy and her customers. She has created a warm and welcoming salon and makes you feel at home with every treatment.

Her old website was a very basic Content Management System that did not have ecommerce features. This meant that any of Maria’s clients that wanted to order from her had to phone or email their orders in. With COVID-19 and multiple lockdowns the past two years – Maria wanted a much easier way to handle orders, display her wide range of beauty products and increase her sales.

During Lockdowns, Level 3 and 4 beauty salons have to remain closed. And with the latest Delta outbreak, this lockdown has been extremely long and depressing on Auckland small businesses.

Pulse Media has upgraded Maria’s website to WordPress/Woocommerce. A very flexible, database driven content management system. We lightened the colour tone of her website as we felt this was more feminine and suited the kind and caring beauty therapist that Maria is.

We continued to incorporate her orchid theme and have subtle orchids throughout the site. We added in testimonials from her booking platform Fresha, Facebook and Google My Business. Maria also now can showcase her work in the gallery.

With the newly implemented WooCommerce feature, Maria can showcase her wide range of products dedicated to making her customers feel good. We implemented a wide range of payment gateways, GenoaPay, STripe, Internet Banking and Pay in Store with Click and Collect. Customers can choose to click and collect in store, pay contactlessly or have their orders couriered to them.

Maria’s website is now hosted on Pulse Media servers and we will also provide 6 months of free maintenance, backups and updates included in her web design package.
