Genoapay – Merchant Payment Gateway Closure

Genoapay have decided to stop offering Genoapay services in New Zealand as a consequence of the uncertainty surrounding the future regulatory environment for the BNPL sector.

This will come into effect from 11th April 2023 and they are informing merchants to remove any marketing campaigns or advertising with Genoapay as soon as possible.

We recommend our clients using Genoapay, stop offering it as a payment gateway now and find an alternative Buy Now, Pay Later merchant gateway – such as Afterpay, Zip or Laybuy
